Terms of service
The deal, in plain words. Draft dated November 4, 2026.
Draft. Not yet in force. Written in plain English from the terms the business runs on; a Florida lawyer reviews it before the first client signs. Until then, the agreement you sign at onboarding is the one that applies.
The service
Onrise, a product of NextGen Business LLC (Florida), answers the calls your office misses. Your office line rings twice; a call nobody picks up forwards to the receptionist, which answers in your shop’s name, books the job by your rules into your calendar or job software, and alerts you at once. On an urgent call it takes the details first, then bridges you in. A person on our team reviews every call. You get a tuning review at 30 days, a rules refresh every quarter, and a monthly page on the 1st.
Price
$499 a month, billed monthly in advance. Fair use is 1,000 minutes of answered calls a month; past that, $0.35 a minute, billed with the next month. There is no setup fee and no card is needed for the audit.
Price lock. Founding shops, meaning any shop signed before our fortieth client or before October 31, 2027, whichever comes first, keep $499 a month for two years from their start date. Shops signed after the founding window keep their price for one year. We do not raise a price during a lock.
The guarantee
Any month in which the receptionist answers fewer than nine in ten of the calls the office misses, at any hour, is free.
The calls the office misses are the calls forwarded to the receptionist’s line after the office’s two rings, as the forwarding log counts them; calls abandoned during those rings and calls ended within five seconds of the receptionist answering are outside the count.
It is measured against the shop’s own call log and shown on the monthly page, so the owner can check it himself.
A free month is applied on the monthly page that reports it; you do not have to claim it.
Cancelling
Cancel by one email to [email protected]. The service runs to the end of the month already paid and nothing further is charged. We will ask why, once. We may end the service with 30 days’ notice, or at once if your line is used for something unlawful.
What you take care of
Setting forwarding after two rings on your own line and leaving it on; keeping your rules current; having the right to let us answer calls on that line; telling your own staff the line is forwarded; and the work itself. The receptionist books jobs; your shop prices, schedules and does them. Payment for the jobs is between you and your customers.
Recording
Calls the receptionist takes are recorded and transcribed for review and for the counts on the monthly page. Every caller hears a short recording notice at the start of the call. By forwarding your line to Onrise you agree to that recording. The privacy policy says how long recordings are kept.
Limits
The guarantee above is the only promise about answered calls. We do not promise any number of jobs, any revenue, or that a given caller books. Beyond the guarantee, our total liability to you for anything connected with the service is the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim, and neither of us is liable to the other for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability that Florida law does not allow to be limited.
The rest
Florida law governs these terms, and disputes go to the state or federal courts in Florida. If we change these terms we email clients 30 days ahead; a change never shortens a price lock. If part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.
